Windows 10 is Arriving

Windows 10 arrives tomorrow, and promises to land as a valuable upgrade.  And what’s more, it will be free for many users.  Most hardware that came with Windows 7, Windows 8.0, and Windows 8.1 will run Windows 10 just fine.  And many older computers going back to the days of Windows Vista will also run it just fine (and it will run FASTER than did Windows Vista on those old computers).  Windows 10 is smaller, leaner and meaner, and more efficient under the hood than any previous version of Windows.  And there are a plethora of UI improvements too, including changes to address common annoyances with Windows 8.  Now the big question.. do you qualify for the free upgrade to Windows 10?  Many people will.  If you’re running a legitimate version of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, you can upgrade free through Windows Update (excluding users of Windows 7 Enterprise, with some exceptions).  Not sure if you qualify?  This handy flowchart will answer that question for you.
